Ecosystem System Services

In 2015 Katrina Threadgill, based at CGES, conducted her MSc Geography dissertation on the different ways people value the Cober Catchment. Taking an ecosystem services approach Katrina mapped the public’s social and biophysical services they afford to the local environment.

Sustainable Mapping

theirwork was a participatory on-line ‘open’ mapping project which focused on Loe Pool and was led by Dominica Williamson.  The aim of the project was to get a local definition of place by capturing local knowledge and direct experiences of the lived environment.
